Migrant/EL summer school 2021
Migrant and EL summer programming 2021 used a STEM program called, Camp Invention. This program provided a variety of recyclable materials for students to use during the building process. Students were also provided the opportunity to go on feild trips and enjoy various guest speakers.
Hispanic Heritage
Check out the fun activity provided in celebration of hispanic heritage month 2021. Bilingual Ed. Specialist, Maria Winston, prepared a fun family activity which dove into the rich history of piñatas. Students and families were able to participate in the art of piñata making and read stories with a cultural theme.
Mariachi Herencia de México

Latin GRAMMY-nominated group of young musicians who got their start as a student ensemble in the Chicago Public School system- Mariachi Herencia de Mexico will be performed in our area. Check out some pics from the event
WIDA Night @ mckinley
Our Family Information Night was a great turn out! Many families and students came for fun games and activities and our Parents were able to get very valuable information about our program and the annual WIDA ACCESS Test.
