St. Boniface School

Dress Code

Uniform Policy

At St. Boniface School we believe that clothing reflects an attitude. The right clothes do not necessarily indicate personal holiness any more than the wrong clothes indicate carelessness. They do, however, help in both indicating and instilling a state of mind or attitude that says we set higher expectations for ourselves. When we dress in uniform we are effectively saying we are dressed for a purpose. Our school uniform encourages students to focus on self-expression through a student’s skills and talents and not on self-expression through material goods.

Neatness, cleanliness and appropriateness of clothing are important in all aspects of life. Parents are the primary teachers of their children and must be expected to teach the importance of personal hygiene and grooming. Please check your child before he/she leaves for school. It is your responsibility to ensure adherence to the dress code. Dress code offenses may result in a letter being sent home or a phone call asking parents to bring the proper clothes to the school.

Frenchtoast.com is our preferred uniform store, but we understand the difficulty in limiting the providers. All uniforms must follow the prescribed descriptions listed below.

The St. Boniface School staff is the final authority in decisions concerning what is appropriate or inappropriate in regards to the dress code. We reserve the right to rule on all questions relating to the areas of uniforms and grooming not covered here.

Girls Dress Code

Shirts: The St. Boniface School girls’ uniform consists of solid white or light blue knit polo shirts and oxford blouses. Shirts must be tucked in at all times if the shirt style warrants. Shirts and blouses must have collars.
