Post-Secondary Preparation Days

Every senior is allowed up to TWO excused absences for the entire school year to participate in post-secondary preparation.  These days will not count against your attendance percentage.  Examples of approved activities include, but are not limited to college visits, job shadowing, military signing, etc.  If you have questions about whether the activity you’re considering would could as post-secondary preparation, please email Ms. Crawford.

* In order for these absences to be excused and not counted against your attendance percentage, you must turn in documentation on the organizations letterhead stating that you attended with the date you were absent to the counseling center.  This must be turned in within TWO days of your absence.  Without this documentation, your absences WILL be counted against your attendance!
