Post-Secondary Preparation Days

• Each senior may use up to TWO excused absences during the school year for post-secondary preparation activities.

• These absences will not count against your attendance percentage.

• Approved activities may include:

  • College visits

  • Job shadowing

  • Military signing

  • Other post-secondary preparation activities

Documentation Required:
To have the absence excused, you must submit documentation on the organization’s letterhead showing that you attended the activity and the date of your absence.

Documentation must be turned in to the Attendance Secretary within TWO school days of the absence.

Without documentation, the absence WILL count against your attendance percentage.
