DRC: 2018-19 (17 December 2018): Schedule and Guideline for the preparation of PPT for DRC (Previously RDC) presentation.

Botany: 11.00 am - 12.00 Noon

Zoology: 12:00 pm- 1:00 pm

Microbiology: 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Biotechnology: 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

The candidates are required to report in the Department of Biosciences, Saurastra University at least 1 hr ahead of their scheduled timings

PPT: Total 5-7 Slides (preferably in Bullet form, avoiding too much text in it)

Time: 10 Min

• NOC from your employer in case you are in job
• Cast certificate (SC/ST)
• SEBC- Cast certificate and latest Non-Creamy layer certificate

48th Youth Festival of Saurashtra University

Mr. Afzal R. Padaya and Ms. Palak D. Maheta, M.Sc. students of the Department, won the Second Prize of the Debate competition in the 48th Youth Festival of Saurashtra University.

INTERNATIONAL BIODIVERSITY CONGRESS, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, 3-6 October, 2018

Mr. Bhavik Vakani, a Ph.D. Scholar working under Prof. Rahul Kundu, has been awarded First Prize for his presentation in the International Biodiversity Congress, held in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. He received his award from the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Uttarakhand.
