Description: Students will gain a working knowledge of the legal framework within which formal business organizations must operate, and will develop a fundamental understanding of the legal framework of business and the basic principles of law that apply to business transactions. Students will gain an understanding of the application of legal principles in a business activity through text and case studies. Coursework covers the nature of law, courts and court procedures, crimes and torts, contracts, sales, and business ethics.
