About me
I've been an English /Creative Writing teacher at SHS for eighteen years. Aside from teaching, I love gardening, hiking, snowboarding, biking, etc. Basically anything in nature! I am also a poet and an advocate of journaling for the process of healing, discovering, and honing a sense of self and voice in writing.
I am the advisor for The Writing Space here at SHS/JHS. We are a community of writers spanning grades 7-12. In the open studio of room 516, The Writing Space members brainstorm, write, create, and share. Towards National Poetry Month, we accept and publish submissions into LUCID LINES Poetry Magazine.
