About Mr. Cooper

Greetings All! My name is Mr. Cooper!

 A little about my educational background, I graduated from FDR High School in Hyde Park, NY in 2018. From there I went to Dutchess Community College where I graduated in May of 2020 with two associate of science degrees in Business Administration and Information Management. After graduating from Dutchess Community College I transferred to SUNY Oswego to study Business and Marketing Education and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree. I am working toward an MBA from SUNY Oswego and one day I plan to pursue advanced certification or a doctoral degree in educational leadership. After completion of my Bachelor's degree, I began my teaching career at Saugerties Central School District as a Business Education Teacher where I work to this day. At Saugerties High School I also coach the Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team and participate in annual teacher play productions. 

Outside of work and school, I enjoy hunting, golfing, playing lacrosse, fishing, camping, hiking, and just about anything else the great outdoors has to offer. A few interesting and memorable facts about me are, I am a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers and Boston Red Sox Fan. I am an Eagle Scout and through scouting, I have been able to go on a variety of amazing life-changing trips from backpacking in the mountains of New Mexico to sailing the seas of the Bahamas.

I am super excited to have the opportunity to teach you all a little bit about the business world and help you grow into successful young adults!
