First Grade Classroom Supply List

This year, our classroom will rely on community supplies. We will store supplies in community bins for everyone’s use, and everyone will have access to the same supplies for their work.

There are many reasons for having community supplies in a classroom: this system helps foster a sense that the classroom and everything in it belong to everyone; it helps children learn how to share and cooperate; it cuts down on competitiveness; and it ensures that all children have what they need.

A wish list of needed supplies you can contribute to the class is as follows:

• Resealable bags (all sizes)
