Student accounts for PSAT, SAT and AP.
The SAT and SAT Subject Tests are designed to assess your academic readiness for college. These exams provide a path to opportunities, financial support, and scholarships, in a way that’s fair to all students. The SAT and SAT Subject Tests keep pace with what colleges are looking for today, measuring the skills required for success in the 21st century.
Official Website of the ACT Test
The ACT® is a curriculum- and standards-based educational and career planning tool that assesses students’ academic readiness for college.
The ACT is accepted by all four-year colleges and universities in the United States.
The ACT is not an aptitude or an IQ test. Instead, the questions on The ACT are directly related to what students have learned in high school courses.
Open to all juniors, the PSAT is a “practice” SAT test – a college entrance exam that is required for many colleges and universities across the country. It is highly recommended that college-bound juniors register for this test prior to taking the SAT.
Students can now register in the school counseling office by bringing $17.00 (exact cash or check payable to FMRHS). Students will receive a practice book and are encouraged to prepare in advance.
Students need to bring pencils, pen with dark ink, and their own calculator to testing.
Test results will arrive in early December. Students are encouraged to connect your College Board account with Khan Academy® to get free personalized SAT study recommendations.
This is a once-a-year test date so don’t miss out! The deadline for registration is October 7, 2020 and seats are limited!
