Detentions

After School Detentions:

If you've earned a detention it may be served in the TRACKS/ISS room (102) or with one of your teachers. After School Detentions begin at 2:15 and can vary from 15 to 60 minutes in duration depending on how much time was missed from class. You will receive a pass during Advisory reminding you of the detention, its length and where it is to be served. If the detention is being served in the TRACKS/ISS room you should bring homework to complete or a book to read silently. If you are to serve a detention with one of your teachers, they will provide work for you to do.

Lunch Detentions:

If you've been assigned a Lunch Detention you should receive a pass in Advisory or be told of the detention by your teacher or administration. If you bring your own lunch simply bring it to the TRACKS/ISS room at the start of your lunch time. If you get lunch from the cafeteria, show your pass to one of the adults in the room so you can go to the front of the line, get your food and then report to the TRACKS/ISS room. Since lunch is only 30 minutes, if you take too long to arrive for your detention (10-15 minutes) you may be assigned another Lunch Detention to make up the time.

During your time in Lunch Detention you will sit quietly and eat your lunch. You can also bring your reading book for when you are done eating. The actual location for Lunch/Movement Time Detentions may change due to staffing or other considerations.
