About Me

I grew up in Nashua, NH and graduated from Nashua High (before there were two high schools) and then earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems from Daniel Webster College. With that degree I started a career at Digital Equipment Corporation (which was bought out by Compaq and then by Hewlett-Packard) that lasted 22 years. During that time we moved to Atlanta, GA and eventually to the Claremont area. After I left HP we started a limousine company, I became a licensed school bus driver and spent almost 4 years working for the Unity Highway Department. At the beginning of the 2010 school year my wife, Mrs. Burden , convinced me to join her in the world of education and I started as a 1:1 para at Bluff Elementary. The next year I moved here to CMS and spent two years in the CAMP program. I then spent 3 years on the 8th grade team and earned my General Special Education certification from Granite State College. This is my third year in the TRACKS/ISS program and enjoy working with the students.

Outside of school I enjoy working on just about anything automotive and have spent many weekends racing all sorts of cars at many different venues including frozen lakes and up the Mount Washington Auto Road. Mrs. Burden and I have been married for over 30 years, have two grown children and one grandson!
