Here are some ideas to help your child master sight words:
Spell sight words with magnetic letters
Play Memory using pairs of sight words
Write out a sight word and cut the letters apart- see if your child can put them back in the right order
Practice sight words in shaving cream or pudding
Play sight word bingo
Write out a sight word and leave out a letter- see if your child can figure out the word
Ask your child to make up a sentence using a particular sight word or words (orally)
