Teacher Quality Panel
The TQP is a joint panel composed of three teachers (elected by Association of Portsmouth Teachers vote) representing the three grade spans (PK-5; 6-8 and 9-12) and three administrators representing the three levels appointed by the association and the school board. The Assistant Superintendent acts as the facilitator of the TQP.
TQP appointments will be for a three (3) year term. No employee shall serve more than one (1) consecutive term, unless in the event that no other candidate expresses interest.
The TQP will
Establish criteria for evidence used in self-evaluations on Danielson’s framework;
Establish staff training to strengthen peer feedback.
