PMS Social Work Services

Welcome to the PMS Social Work Services page. Here, you will find information on how to connect with the School Social Worker as well as information on local resources, mental health services, and assistance on how to support your child and family.

The School Social Worker serves as the bridge between the school, the student, and their family.  The School Social Worker assists the student and their family with getting connected to community resources and also provides individual and/or group therapy services in the school.

Meet Gracie!

Gracie is a 8 year old Labrador Retriever and registered Therapy Dog who spends time at PMS on Thursdays. Gracie belongs to Ms. Jacobus and the two of them work together as a registered Therapy Team. Gracie and Ms. Jacobus are registered through Pet Partners, and have extensive training and testing to ensure the safety and therapeutic needs of the students that they encounter in their work together.

We want to be respectful of any needs that your child may have, such as allergies or a fear of dogs. Please contact Ms. Jacobus or Mr. Davis with any questions or concerns.
