Food Assistance
This program puts nourishing food in the hands of school children to carry them through the weekend. Each bag of food costs $10 each week and provides two breakfasts, two lunches, and three dinners for a child. Students can also opt to just receive a bag of weekend snacks. Students will pick up their bag at the end of the day on Friday in the School Counseling Office. To sign up for this program, email Lisa Jacobus at ljacobus@sau52.org.
Gather is a food security organization in Portsmouth, NH whose mission is to make the Greater Seacoast a hunger-free community. Gather runs a variety of programs. We ask that people bring a picture ID and proof of residency, but if this is not available to you please just stop in and go shopping. We work to ensure that these limitations do not hinder your ability to receive food.
