Helpful Links for Class
Blown to Bits (bitsbook.com) – our textbook for this course. Most of the time, you will be given links to the section of this book that is related to the unit we are learning.
Google Classroom (classroom.google.com) – We will use classroom to manage class surveys, hand in work that does not require anything “fancy” to run like an image, document, or spreadsheet.
Code High School (codehs.com) – We will use this classroom resource as our main guide for our curriculum. You will have an email inviting you to join the class.
Pencil Code (pencilcode.net) – this is another development environment we will use this year. It is block-based, but it can be changed or “toggled” to text-based as well.
Wikimedia Commons (commons.wikimedia.org) – this is a common source site; be sure to cite resources attained on this site as specified.
** These performance tasks are combined with the 74 question multiple choice assessment on Friday Afternoon on May 11, 2018 to determine the AP Score. The multiple choice assessment is worth 60% while the Explore PT is worth 16% and the Create PT is worth 24% of the AP Score.
