We have a lot of new faces this year and we spent time getting to know each other and the rules of the program...
This was a favorite!
These worksheets tell us a lot about each child.
How indipendant they can fill it out
What they like and dislike
How artistic they are
and more...
We had a great time showing what we can offer at the open house.
We are an in house program that cost nothing to send your child.
It's always nice to have fun at recess!
But we try to have as much fun as we can!
We like to practice our reading skills. We partner students up together to learn from eachother. Our "Littles" will get paired with a staff in a group.
Math Monday Club gives elementary students a fun and engaging space to practice math skills through games and hands-on activities. Students will build confidence with numbers, problem-solving, patterns, measurement, and other important math skills while working together with their peers. Each week will bring a new activity designed to make math fun, meaningful, and something students look forward to!
Where students don't even realize they are learning math while they play a game
Our Older Students get a chance to Mentor our Younger students!
Just Dance Club gives students a fun, energetic way to get moving, dance, and enjoy music with their friends. Students will learn simple dance routines, explore different types of music and movement, and build confidence while staying active. No dance experience is needed—just bring your energy and be ready to have fun!
Color Me Happy Club gives students a creative space to explore art, color, and self-expression through fun hands-on projects. Students will learn about primary and secondary colors, warm and cool tones, and different textures while experimenting with a variety of art materials and techniques. It’s a relaxing and welcoming place for students to be creative, build confidence, and discover their own artistic style.
Cosmic Kids Yoga gives students a fun and engaging way to move, stretch, and practice mindfulness through yoga adventures and storytelling. Students will build balance, coordination, flexibility, and body awareness while learning calming strategies they can use throughout their day. It’s a playful way to get active, relax, and help students feel confident and ready to take on new challenges.
Autumn Art Club is a creative and hands-on art experience led by our very own Miss Autumn!
Students will explore different art materials, techniques, and projects while having fun and expressing their creativity. It’s a wonderful opportunity for students to discover their artistic side, try something new, and create something they can be proud of!
This week in Autumn Art, our students explored their creativity through four fun stations! They made leaf-rubbing characters, created their own fall-themed photos with frames, colored and decorated paper scarecrows, and used blocks to build their own fall-inspired creations. It was a fun week of imagination, creativity, and hands-on learning! 🍂
Today we made cardboard picture frames and used nature to make fall scenes!
Lil Chefs Around the World takes students on a delicious adventure as they explore foods, flavors, and recipes from different countries and cultures. Students will learn basic cooking skills, kitchen safety, and how to follow a recipe while creating fun, kid-friendly dishes. Each week brings a new culinary adventure and an opportunity to discover something new about the world through food!
This week we learned an easy USA favorite: Apple Pie Cups
Crushing the Crust
adding it to the cup
adding apples and whipped cream
enjoying it!
Most of the kids thought it sounded gross, a lot of them thought it looked good when we watched a video on how to make it, and only two wouldn't take a "No Thank You Bite"
