Here is a "to do" checklist to help you with what you need to do during your three remote learning days!
Read for 20 minutes per day. This may be done in smaller sessions throughout the day or all at once. You may choose some books you have at home, go on Epic, or Literacy Footprints, to read!
While reading this week, see if you notice any L Blend words in your books! Post an L Blend word you find on your class discussion board.
Listen to McDuff and the Baby.
Draw a picture and/or write about how McDuff was feeling in the beginning, the middle, and the end of the story.
Feel free to print and use this paper! Or use any paper you have at home and fold it into three sections.
Activities to reinforce what we have learned about consonant L blends.
Check out the "L Blends" book collection on Epic!
Pick an activity to practice your sight words!
We've been learning about using a teaching voice to teach others about something we know a lot about. Choose a toy that you feel you know a lot about. Take time to write and use your teaching voice to teach others about the toy you chose OR write 5 facts about your toy.
Feel free to print the paper below or use any paper you already have at home!
We've been learning about our feelings and how people can feel differently about the same situation. Write about about a time where you felt differently about the same situation as a friend.
Example- Louisha and Sally felt differently from each other on the first day of school. Sally was sad and scared and Louisha was happy and excited.
OR
We've been learning how our feelings can change. Write about a time that your feelings changed.
Have your child complete an extension for each UA class they do not have live this week. Contact the UA teacher(s) if you are unsure which lesson to complete.
