Sora Digital Book Access
Sora Digital Book Access
All NHS students have access to our digital eBook and audiobook collection through the Sora app. Sora can be accessed through a web browser or the Sora app. Students will need to log into their school Google account to access Sora but then will have access to the books at home or school.
Students may need adult support getting started with Sora.
Scholastic Digital Tools
Scholastic Digital Tools
Students can find some biography books on the Scholastic TrueFlix site.
Students will need to log into this with our usual username and password.
World Book Online
World Book Online
Students can find articles on many different subjects at WorldBookOnline.
They are able to log into this with our usual username and password or with their school Google accounts.
World Book Kids has easy-to-read articles that can be read aloud or translated. The Important People collection will have information on many famous people.
World Book Timelines is used most often with grades 4 and up. It does have timelines about many famous people.
Students are also able to create timelines after logging in with their school Google accounts.
PebbleGo by Capstone
PebbleGo by Capstone
Students will find Biography sections in both PebbleGo and PebbleGo Next.
They will need to log in with our usual usernames and passwords.

We have Gale Databases for both Elementary and Middle School students.

FactCite
FactCite has a biography section. These articles tend to be a longer. The read aloud feature may make these usable for grade 2.
