Managing Emotions in Times of Uncertainty & Stress
This FREE self-paced, Coursera course developed by the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence will provide participants with the knowledge, skills, and strategies to understand and manage their emotions and those of their students. The 10-hour online course is designed for school staff, including teachers, paraprofessionals, counselors, principals, and non-teaching staff in preK-12 schools.
KNOW & TELL is an education program to educate all adults to KNOW the signs of abuse and TELL responsible authorities when a child needs help. This program provides exceptional professional development opportunities to schools, youth serving organizations, camps, medical professionals, coaches, law enforcement, first responders, as well as, the average individual/community member.

Educator's Guide to Optimistic Thinking
Educator Social-Emotional Reflection and Training (EdSERT) provides professional development for K-12 educators focusing on social and emotional development. This resource enhances the social-emotional knowledge and skill set of educators and in turn, improves the efficacy of SEL instruction and ultimately student outcomes. At the same time, the program is designed to enhance the well-being of educators through the development of social-emotional practices that can be used inside and outside the classroom.
Teacher Training Module: Supporting Grieving Students in Schools
FREE professional development from the National Center for School Crisis and Bereavement. These modules help school staff understand the experience of the grieving student and includes information about how children understand death and express their grief, presents practical suggestions about how school staff can initiate the conversation and offer support to the grieving student, and practical guidance about how to coordinate resources and manage special issues while you support the grieving child.
