Immunizations
New Hampshire state law requires that all students be immunized prior to admission to school. Proof of immunization must be provided to the school nurse for the following:
DTaP/Tdap (Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis)
IPV (Poliomyelitis)
HepB (Hepatitis B)
MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
VAR (Varicella/Chicken pox)
All immunizations must meet minimum age and interval requirements for each vaccine. A 4-day grace period is
allowed; however, live attenuated vaccines (MMR, Varicella, or nasal influenza vaccine) that are not administered
on the same day must be administered at least 28 days apart.
The law provides that children not in compliance with these requirements be "conditionally enrolled" if documentation is provided of at least one dose of the required immunization along with an appointment to receive the next dose, otherwise the child will be excluded from school.
