Honors Project

Students choose an area to focus on (most often in the career path they have chosen to pursue). They select ten objectives (four are pre-determined, two are highly encouraged and the other four are ones they select themselves) that will help them achieve their goal toward completing their project. Thirty hours must be logged in hands-on learning or working to accomplish their objectives. These hours do not include the online portfolio aspect of the project. Students need to complete a ten page thesis paper and a formal presentation to the student body during the school day. They must also complete an online portfolio detailing their work, a tri-fold display board, proof of their project, a slideshow presentation, and they must present at Capstone Project Night in January of 2022.
