EUROPE:

ALL FOR ONE AND

ONE FOR ALL

What is going to happen to Europe's water?

Europe: all for one , one for all

EUROPE ALL FOR ONE AND ONE FOR ALL

The European Investment Bank (EIB) recently released the results of their climate survey. They say we can contribute to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by cycling and walking.

69% of the 28,088 Europeans interviewed think that their own individual actions can have an impact for a better environment. In Europe, we can think about the countries which walk or cycle more in their daily trips.

People cannot walk or cycle if they don't have facilities to do it. In the Netherlands, where the total length of the the cycle network is over 35,000 km long, only a 2% don't walk or cycle because they don't have the possibility in their towns.

Europeans look for more climate-friendly options. In short, Europeans will be able to improve their personal habits to prevent a quicker climate change.

Europeans also want to push their governments for more ambition against climate change. The individual actions are not enough without collective changes. The institutions have to push further, as in the Netherlands, to promote the bicycle as a really effective tool against climate crisis.
