MAP Boosters is a group of SHS parents who provide vital support to MAP. We raise funds that help pay for the state-of-the-art computers, cameras, and other requipment, teacher stipdents, and event materials and hospitality.

The Media Arts Program invites students to celebrate their learning in an academy setting with a focus on rigorous academic standards in English and Social Studies. MAP students develop skills in media-related performance and production technologies, including several cutting edge programs for video, animation, and other mass media. Instruction emphasizes collaboration, communication, and team interaction as students work with their peers, teachers, and industry professionals.

Where do your donations go?
Your donations make MAP possible
We request a donation of $185 per MAP student each year. MAP is a technology-rich program that the District cannot fully fund. Your donation makes it possible for MAP to have state-of-the-art computers and software, still and video camera equipment, teacher stipends to give MAP students more faculty support and funds for MAP events. Your $185 donation goes a long way!
