For Relationships

To begin relational counseling with someone you care about means to intentionally focus time and energy on your specific connection as well as your respective, individual histories

The attachment styles and communication patterns we learn as children surface sneakily into our adult relationships. In counseling, we can begin to identify, understand, and empathize with these patterns.

As you sit and witnesses a partner's self-exploration, there occurs a parallel process... your partner, friend, sibling, or parent gives permission to be witnessed. This vulnerability beautifully deepens relational trust.

To spend time in memories, or to work on communicating present emotions, can be easier with intentionality, tenderness, and safety. A counselor can provide gentle support through this delicate process.

The counseling room can serve as the practice grounds for taking up space; and then being seen, heard, and held.

I charge $150 per session, and sessions are 55-60 minutes in length.

If you are worried about affording therapy, please inquire about sliding scale availability.

I am not currently accepting new clients for relational counseling.

Sessions are available in-person in Asheville, and via telehealth across North Carolina.

Payment is accepted via credit card, debit card, or health savings account (HSA) and is required at the time of service

It is requested that your card be kept on file in order to process ongoing payments.

Good Faith Estimates of expected charges are available upon scheduling your first session, or upon request.

The purpose of the estimate is to give you an opportunity to manage your care costs and to prevent surprise billing.
