About Counselor

My name is Taylor Moeller. I grew up on the gulf coast of Florida and now live in western North Carolina.

Spending time connecting with loved ones (dogs + people) is really important to me,

and reading books and animal-watching are some of my favorite things.

Therapy has been the primary avenue through which I've gotten to deeply know myself.

Spending regular, structured time with someone who is trained in compassionate interpersonal safety and gentle curiosity has been life-changing.

I received my Master of Arts (MA) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir-Rhyne University in 2021, and completed my clinical training working alongside survivors of sexual and interpersonal violence.

Over the last 10 years, I've worked in the mental health field in residential, case, and program management capacities.

I am licensed as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA) in the state of North Carolina, my license number is #A16918. My clinical supervisor is Heather Schnoebelen, and her license number is #S7280.

I identify as polyamory-affirming and LGBTQIA-celebrating

I work with both relationships (couples, parent/child dyads, friendships) as well as with individuals.

Sap is the sticky blood of trees. Marrow: the fatty substance in the cavities of bones.

Both of these materials are elusive - they are rarely seen.

Similarly, what occurs in the space we co-create may not often be comfortably shared, or witnessed

These feelings, thoughts, and experiences in the body are especially welcome in our work together.
