Meet your school counselor

My name is Lissa Tupeck and I am the preK-8 School Counselor here at Sant Bani School.

I graduated from Lesley University with a Bachelor's of Science in Art Therapy. I then went on to work in community mental health before obtaining my Master's Degree in School Counseling from Plymouth State University in 2013. I am certified as a school counselor in grades K-12.

My choice to become an elementary counselor stems from my passion in believing that every student has the potential to be successful at school and in life if provided the right tools. My goal is to work with students to develop skills that will help them both inside and outside of the classroom. I am here as a support to the school community working with parents, teachers, school leaders, and most importantly the students to ensure that they feel successful and look back on their school career with positive reflection. I want your child to become an empathetic, kind, contributing member of society.

How I describe school counseling to the students...

"I can't promise to fix all your problems, but I can promise you won't have to face them all alone."

My job is to teach the students the tools and strategies needed to make their own choices confidently and to be there to help reflect and listen, in the hope that they are learning and growing from the resolution of these challenges.

Please call or e-mail if you have any questions, need assistance or if you’d just like to chat about your student.

Thank you for the opportunity to work with your amazing students!
