  • In 2000, the seminar for teachers (primary school group) of American, Canadian, and European Overseas Chinese Schools was completed.

  • The summer seminar for overseas Chinese teachers organized by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Committee from 1997 to 2015 is completed.

  • Chinese teacher at San Jose Chinese School, 1995-present, 25 years in total.

  • Chinese teacher at Silicon Valley Chinese School, 2010-present, 11 years in total.

  • Teacher of Tzu Chi San Mateo Humanities School, 2013-present, 8 years in total.

  • Chinese teacher of Guanghua Experimental Chinese School, 2006-2010, 4 years in total.

  • Chinese teacher of Jiale Experimental Chinese School, 1999-2006, 7 years in total.

  • Chinese teacher at Siyuan Chinese School, 1997-2010, 14 years in total.

  • Won the 2005 Ten-Year Senior Teacher Award from the Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission of the Republic of China.

  • Won the 2015 Twenty Years Senior Teacher Award from the Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission of the Republic of China.

  • Won the 2017 Twenty Years Senior Excellent Teacher Award from the Overseas Chinese Affairs Commission of the Republic of China.

  • In 1997, he participated in the compilation of the teaching materials of the "Information Collection" of the Northern California Chinese Schools Association.

  • Served as an education committee member of the Northern California Chinese Schools Association (ANCCS) for five years, volunteering to participate in the preparation of SAT-II Chinese simulation test questions, as well as the preparation and review of Chinese cultural knowledge competitions. Served as the main lecturer of Chinese school teachers' teaching observation in 2002, 2004, and 2005.

Experience

  • Served as a Chinese teacher in the kindergarten, lower, middle, and upper grades of a Chinese school.

  • Good at Chinese Pinyin and SAT-II Chinese, AP Chinese teaching, and served as a lecturer for many demonstrations.

  • As a tutor for Chinese character recognition classes and AP Chinese intensive classes, I have many years of experience.

  • Served as a Chinese tutor for many students for several years, and a tutor of tutoring classes for three years.

Philosophy

I have been engaged in Chinese education for many years. I hope that I can help students with teaching life and practicality and increase their interest and willingness to learn. I hope to provide a little bit of effort for the inheritance and continuation of Chinese culture before I retire.
