Adobe Premiere Pro System Requirements

Laptop Minimums: the specs listed below are the minimum needed for shooting in 1080p. 

Recommendations for shooting in 4K are in red.  

1. CPU: PC - Intel® 7th Gen or newer with Quick Sync (Intel® 11th Gen or newer for 4K), or AMD Ryzen™ 3000 Series or newer (AMD Ryzen 5 series or newer for 4K) . Apple - Intel® 7th Gen or newer, or Apple Silicon M1 or newer (M1 Max, M2 Max, M1 ultra are better for 4k).  

2. GPU: PC - Nvidia Gtx 1650 Ti or newer (Nvidia 3050 or higher for 4K), or AMD Radeon RX 5600M or newer (AMD Radeon RX 6000 or newer for 4K);  Apple Silicon - 16 GB of unified memory

3. RAM: 16 GB minimum (32 GB or higher recommended for 4K editing)

4. Display: 15” (unless paired with a second display), resolution of 1920x1080 or higher, HD quality, 60 Hz refresh rate (resolution 3840x2160 for 4K)  

5. Operating System: PC - Windows 10 (64bit) or higher (Windows 11 preferred to run new versions of Adobe software); Apple -  MacOS 11.0 (Big Sur) or higher 

5. Minimum internal storage: 500 GB internal SSD with a minimum of 8 GB available space for installation

6. Internal or External Storage: two 2 TB HDD or SSD (if external storage, it should have a USB 3.0 connection or faster) 

Laptop Recommendations: 

 1. Apple: MacBook Pro, MacBook Air (2019 and later) (2021 or later for 4k)

2. PC: Lenovo, HP, Dell, Acer, Asus (2019 and later) (2021 or later for 4k)

Desktop Minimums: 

1. CPU:PC - Intel® 7th Gen or newer with Quick Sync (Intel® 11th Gen or newer for 4K), or AMD Ryzen™ 3000 Series or newer (AMD Ryzen 5 series or newer for 4K) . Apple - Intel® 7th Gen or newer, or Apple Silicon M1 or newer (M1 Max, M2 Max, M1 ultra are better for 4k).
