Luck o' the Library

Students visit the library each week to take part in various activities that all involve a little bit of skill and a little bit of luck.
Read for the Record with READ Club and Educators Rising
Educators Rising asked READ Club to join them for their "Read for the Record" event, which took place on February 27th at Haskin Elementary School.Â
Students read the book With Lots of Love by Jenny Torres Sanchez, illustrated by Andre Ceolin. The elementary students then did a craft that included writing a letter to someone they love.
Blind Date with a Book

Books were wrapped by READ Club and pu ton the Blind Date with a Book display in the library to encourage reading for enjoyment and not judging a book by its cover.
Students who checked out a book from the display also got a sweet treat to enjoy while reading.
