What is READ Club?

READ Club is a social club for people who love reading, libraries, and being active in the community. We focus on appreciating knowledge for knowledge's sake and reading for enjoyment

What does READ Club do?

Club members are responsible for driving the direction of the club each year by coming up with activities to promote community, libraries, and reading.

Some of the activities our members have planned and taken part in include:

• Creating reading and library poster campaigns around school

• Hosting literary themed parties

• Abraham Lincoln Reader's Choice Award Voting program

• Various community service projects

• Making book trailers

• Helping with library-related activities at the elementary schools

• Reading to elementary students

• Making library displays

• Visiting mall appearance by actors in movies based on books
