In January 2025, I will join other SOLES graduate students on a Global Seminar on Leadership in Cambodia.
This seminar will research different sectors of Cambodian society, such as education, business and NGOs, and discuss organizational roles. Our seminar will explore the unique structures by connecting directly with Cambodian leaders and professional organizations.
In academic year 2025-2025, I will plan and conduct an action research project in collaboration with USD's Torero Renaissance Scholars, a program that supports former foster youth, emancipated minors, and students who have experienced homelessness. I plan to research the use of holistic narratives and the connection between between students, staff and community partners.
I will present my research in the Spring 2025 Action Research Symposium at USD's School of Leadership and Education Sciences.
I will attend the 2025 NAFSA Annual Conference in May, located in San Diego, CA. I plan to meet organizations and professionals who work in international student and scholar support services.
I plan to register as a NAFSA member to take advantage of online resources on F-1 and J-1 student advising.
Traveling to San Diego, CA in Spring 2025 for NAFSA? Let's connect!
