Sara grew up in Williamsburg, Virginia and studied Chinese language and international politics at college. After her first study abroad experience to Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, Sara has continued to pursue opportunities to study, work and travel abroad. When working on campus, Sara has worked to give a platform to global faculty, international student organizations, and cultural programming. Sara is currently studying Higher Education Leadership at the University of San Diego.
Sara has over five years in supporting international programming for semester and short-term study abroad, faculty-led travel, and international student support. As an undergraduate at the College of William & Mary, Sara's most impactful experience was participating in a living and learning community around Chinese Language and Culture. Sara moved to Beijing, China for two years after graduation, and has been passionately supporting future students in their international education goals.

Sara has worked with several teams of undergraduate student employees, including peer advisors, communications interns, digital interns, program management, and administrative support. Sara has enjoyed being a part of student's professional journeys, and believes that colleges are an excellent place to get started on your career skills.

Sara has coordinated and executed programs from 3 to 3,000 individuals, and believes that programming and events are a vital part of a campus. At University of Richmond and University of California, San Diego, Sara has had the opportunity to work with ambassadors, international scholars, performers, community groups, and even a famous comedian!
Highlight: Working with student groups, departments and faculty to host a Lunar New Year celebration at UC San Diego.
