Are you interested in making a difference in the district and being a student leader?
Student Equity Ambassadors (SEA) is a program that seeks to initiate projects within SDUSD and implement solutions on how to improve our schools.
Student Equity Ambassadors will have the opportunity to take action and pursue a problem or passion that they have within their school or within the school district, and collaborate with their peers and district leaders to find solutions to challenges facing students. SEA is a great place to gain leadership experience, and make an impact on your school. Our voices and ideas start district and community conversations that lead to solutions and changes that benefit all San Diego Unified School District students and families.
This school year, meetings will take place on zoom once or twice a month on Mondays at 4:30. The full schedule can be found here. If you are interested in becoming a Student Equity Ambassador for San Diego Unified, please fill out this google form. All students are welcome!

Sonali Caffrey - President
Sonali Caffrey - President
Sonali Caffrey, a senior at Scripps Ranch High School, is dedicated to making a positive impact across her school district. As a passionate member of the Student Equity Ambassadors (SEA), now serving as President after being Vice President last year, she has worked closely with the Student Resources section to ensure that student voices are heard and considered in district-wide decisions. Beyond her advocacy efforts, Sonali is also an accomplished swimmer on her school's team, balancing her athletic commitments with her drive to create a more equitable and inclusive community throughout the district.
Sailee Caffrey - Vice President
Sailee Caffrey - Vice President
Sailee Caffery, a sophomore at Scripps Ranch High School, serves as the Vice President of the Student Equity Ambassadors (SEA), having been involved with the organization since her freshman year. She previously contributed to the Sports equity initiatives within the group. Beyond her role in SEA, Sailee is an active athlete, participating in both swimming and soccer.
