Through the MSAP Grant, Roosevelt International Magnet will transform into Roosevelt International Media Arts Magnet. Teachers will incorporate media arts and media literacy into the design of their IB Middle Years curriculum, with an emphasis on social justice. Roosevelt will be increasing its connection with arts opportunities in Balboa Park, bringing expertise to the school, and offering students increased opportunities to expand their learning into the Park.  Roosevelt will partner with the California Global Education Project, Media Arts Center San Diego, the Comic-Con Museum, Art Reach, and other local organizations to achieve this goal.
