Through the MSAP Grant, Montgomery STEAM Magnet has transformed into Montgomery Middle Media Arts and STEAM Magnet. Teachers have designed and facilitated STEAM focused Project Based Learning (PBL) that emphasizes media literacy and the design of multimodal texts as students develop their creative capacity and advocate for positive change in their world. Montgomery partners with the California Global Education Project, Media Arts Center San Diego, the Comic-Con Museum, ArtReach, Outside the Lens and other local organizations to achieve this goal.
