Eco-Friendly Stadium

Cavers Going Green

Our Vision

We envision Balboa Stadium becoming a totally carbon neutral and innovative, eco-friendly sports arena that can be a model for other schools around the country. We want to reinvigorate the community's love for this historic site that we are able to call our Caver home field.

Our Mission

Students will gain invaluable transfer skills that they will not only help them succeed in other classes at SDHS, but will also prepare them for a variety of STEM careers, giving them real-world design and implementation experience that will help them get jobs during or after high school.
