Zen Zones
The Zen Zone Project is a student-designed and student-built wellness space created to support the well-being of the Hoover community. As a cross-academy collaborative project, students led every stage of the process—from designing wellness stations and building planter boxes to selecting and planting native species. Working alongside community partners, students applied skills in design, construction, sustainability, and collaboration to create a lasting resource for campus. Today, the Zen Zone provides students and classes with a space to recharge, reflect, and connect with nature.
