How do language, culture, environment, and people help to shape my identity?
What tools can I use to advocate for positive change in my community?
During this project, students will contemplate four compelling questions. As they work on developing answers to these questions, students will gain a better understanding of who they are, how they "fit in" to their various communities, what THEY can do to make a difference, and what role technology plays in the cause of advocacy.
Who am I as an individual and as a member of varied communities?
What are the important issues within my communities? Where will I focus my strengths and passions?
What role does technology play in advocating for the issues of my community?
What tools do I already have to advocate? What tools do I need to acquire?
