Podcast will describe at the beginning of the introduction the history of the topic, their exploring utilizing information gained from US History courses to explain the current situation that requires advocacy.
Students will study the expansion of democracy, construction of the Constitution, Reconstruction,Prohibition, Abolition, Women’s Rights, Civil Rights, LGBT Rights,and landmark Supreme Court Cases.
Students will produce segments for the Hoover High School’s NEST on advocacy within Hoover HS and City Heights community.
