Elements and Principles

Students learn the elements and principles of art (see below) and do different activities or assignments that help them practice using them. This includes but is not limited to warm-ups, contour drawings, and gesture drawings.

I 've enjoyed this school year with art because the teacher is pretty nice with me and the other students. I also enjoyed having great classmates. Shading was my favorite activity because it made things look realistic. It was really easy, but the final project was pretty difficult and challenging and that was my favorite project. - Sergio A.
