Wilson Students, Staff, Parents , and Friends,
Thank you for your hard work, patience, and support this school year. Art lessons over Zoom are not the greatest, but the students still made it work.
I am so proud of art they have created and hope they also had time to reflect on their growth as artists and humans this year.
The students' care, joy, and creativity really shine throughout this site and I hope you enjoying viewing it!

Juice has been my Art student all 3 years at Wilson. Like most students that choose Art, Juice started off wanting to draw anime, cartoons, and original characters like you see in their drawing from 6th grade on the left. They still draw their own characters but have also developed an interest in different representations of the human figure, and has had strong original and
conceptual pieces this year, like the cornucopia self-portrait on the right. Juice has an abundant supply of creativity and good,
and I cannot wait to see what they create in the future.
Wilder has also been my Art student all 3 years, even wrote a letter describing his passion for art and what role it plays in his future in order to stay in my class. He has a natural talent, but is humble and takes critique and direction with great care.
Shading, especially with realistic images like his animal eye drawing from 6th grade on the left, and
the future seer he drew this year on the right, is definitely his strongest artistic skill, showing great attention to detail and light
Hopefully what he has learned and practiced in my class has prepared him for further artistic endeavors.
