"The Hill We Climb"
Classes watched the video of Amanda Gorman reciting her poem "The Hill We Climb" at the presidential inauguration. We followed with a discussion about 'renaissance' and 'hope' and students created art based on lines from the poem or what they hope to see change or improve after the pandemic, or even to honor anyone that has helped them up the "hill they climb" in life or that had passed during this time.
