Students will be given a list of words at the beginning of each week from each unit. The unit words share a pattern that is reinforced through class activities. However, in place of a typical spelling test, students will be given unit quizzes on Fridays where one word is dictated in a sentence for students to rewrite and the other word is written in a sentence generated by the students.
