Weekly homework packet will be assigned on Monday and due the following Monday. Packet will include a reading and writing component to include News Report and math. 

My goal for homework is to help students develop the responsibility of completing and submitting assignments. Homework is to be completed to the best of your child’s ability. Please remember that the process, not the product, is the most important aspect of the homework. The discussion, activity and the involvement of a caring family member is most helpful. In addition, to homework, students are assigned 20 minutes of Home Reading. This will allow your child to critically respond to his or her reading. Please encourage reading in your home every day and make it a pleasurable time. Grade level projects will also be assigned at various times throughout the year.
