Youth Advocacy - Equity & Belonging
Seeks to create environments that promote the safety and affirmation of all students by fostering a culture of care and respect. See links below for supports and services.
Children and Youth in Transition
Connects students living in homelessness, foster care, with military parents, with refugee status, and those returning to our district from Juvenile Justice facilities with resources
Coordination and implementation of federal and state grants that support our military and refugee youth

We serve any student who is expecting and/or parenting their own children within our District boundaries.
This also includes students who suffer a pregnancy loss and students who choose termination or adoption.

National Alliance on Mental Illness – NAMI
• We provide information about where to find treatment and financial support, including our free Helpline

•All NAMI San Diego education and support programs and the NAMI Helpline are offered completely free of charge.
FHCSD is one of the nation’s ten largest FQHCs. We operate 49 sites across San Diego County, including 23 primary care clinics, 10 behavioral health facilities, eight dental clinics, an outpatient substance use treatment program, three vision clinics, physical therapy departments, two mobile counseling centers, three mobile medical units and a pharmacy to support services throughout San Diego County.

Multipurpose fields, two lighted and four unlighted ball fields, a tot lot, a BMX track, soccer field, comfort stations, picnic areas, fenced leash free dog park and a swimming pool. Inside the rec center are a gym, game room and craft room and more.

As Linda Vista is home to many first generation immigrants, the library has an extensive collection of titles in Spanish, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese, along with smaller holdings in other languages.

The library opened in 2006 with an environment focus, constructed using recycled materials and with native plant landscaping. A fenced-off area behind the library is home to a sensitive habitat for vernal pools. Several patios, a community room and seminar room provide space for special events and large gatherings. In addition, the library features an outdoor play area designed in cooperation with First 5 San Diego.
