MEATCO

MEA Theatre Company is a student-run K-12 club centered around performing, creating, and building a community through theatre! We put on an annual play in the fall, with students involved in all parts of the process, both onstage and behind the scenes. We're also fortunate to have a professional from The Old Globe, Becca Myers, work with us and share her experience and knowledge of theatre.

Our MEATCo Tech Crew is also an incredibly important part of our productions! Students help make props, build sets, work backstage, and learn about lighting + sound, which all help bring a production together.

Coming this Spring: our new K-4 theatre program, MEATCo Minis, will meet on Fridays from 1:00-2:30 PM. Elementary students will learn skills in acting, dancing, and singing and work toward a performance in the MEA Talent Show.
