Civil Discourse

Controversy with Civility is a forum for polite, measured, respectful, and thoughtful discussion of contemporary political topics. Each meeting will have a subject topic with contextualizing articles presenting all sides provided beforehand. It will be strictly mediated keeping everyone in line and on topic in addition to following some basic ground rules. This will allow members to engage in discourse on issues that garner various opinions in a calm and encouraging manner, teaching them how to talk across ideological lines and find common ground and shared beliefs.
