At the start of our Community Schools journey, Hoover’s Site Governance Team (SGT) established a dedicated sub-committee to oversee the work. The SGT, a democratically elected body of teachers, parents, students, administrators, and classified staff, ensures collaborative decision-making and representation of all stakeholders in shaping school policies.
Sub-Committee Purpose:
Ensure all voices are included in the planning and implementation of the needs and assets assessment.
Maintain transparency in vetting Community Schools funding for proposed projects.
Facilitate the formation of working groups to address growth areas identified through the needs and assets assessment.
Our sub-committee is led by our Community Schools Site Coordinator & our Community Schools Teacher Coach.
