Cheetah Connection Week
In order to increase communication and connection with our families, Cherokee Point Elementary has an ambitious goal: 100% of TK-5 families will meet with teachers within the first two weeks of school.
The purpose of the Cheetah Connection Week to make a positive connection with every family member by gathering information about the family that can be used to support your work throughout the year, understand the challenges and supports that the families have and will need in order to be successful, and establish a communication system with the parent/guardian.
Families were given the opportunity to address their strengths, concerns, and goals via standardized Questionnaires and in-person meetings held with their child's educator(s) on established minimum days for the first two weeks of the school year.
Shown here are the initial results of Cherokee Point's first-ever Cheetah Connection Week!
Cheetah Connection Reflection
Following Cheetah Connection Week, families and staff were given the opportunity to provide feedback via standardized reflection surveys.
